Idea:
So my idea in branding the human species is going to be more focused on "How We Listen" or "The Way We Listen." This meaning I really want to look into how we as humans throughout our history have used and more specifically listen to music and getting even more defined the music listening devices we have used.
The audience that I was thinking about makes my project a little difficult. I was thinking about if my capsule was found by an extreme future being that they would probably not speak our language so a non-our-language-speaking sentient being. This positioning the project to use completely imagery and symbol/suggestion based descriptions even though its kind of describing music.
The things that I will be doing is creating some type of history time-line all based on symbols. Then I will do all the logo and base designs with a simplistic symbol and image. Now what I will be not doing and straying from is using any text at All!

how far back are you going to go in history? are you using different cultures around the world? are you going to bring it up the the present?
Music moves and now moves with us considering all the portable devices we have access to. Which device will you focus on?
I agree with Craig. The medium that you use will have a big impact on your concept. Make sure it is able to stand the test of time.
Well I am not sure exactly what device I am going to focus on but while doing research; until recently in our day and age, there has not been a ton of music listening devices so I think that I am going to go as far back as I can like possibly into pre-hisory but keeping it really generalized. But I am going to make a really cool time capsule box out of aluminum that will give the appearance of the steel vacuum containers that people are using for time capsules now adays. And maybe that will be a good representation of standing the test of time... but I dont really know hahaha! Thanks guys for the comments!
