My idea is influenced largely by the experience my life has seen recently. There is no need to divulge detail but I will say this, "my experiences and yours when expressed seem different in context but are the same in lessons taught". As I consider the human brand its obvious there are many different concepts and ideal structures. There are however constants that extend to each one of us. One of those constants is progress, moving forward, believing in the future and its beauty. Whatever you call it or believe it is the future is as real as the present.
So my idea illustrates a different view of progress. This view is simply a part of the whole. That view is RECOVERY. Its emptying the tanks and refueling that spin our progressive wheels. Its giving what you have, feeling absolutely drained then resting and recovering and seeing our progression. We have all had those studious late nights that pushed us to our edge and beyond. In retrospect the strength came after the fact. When we look back it was the issue of recovering from those events large or small where we see new confidence and strength.
Here is a simple analogy. Exercise. How many feel you get stronger when at the gym? Hopefully none, because we don't. The reality is we get weaker, we have used all our energy and the fact is we cant do more until we recover. My idea then is to illustrate the concept of recovery through a logo that indicates resilience in pursuit.

Man I really love your idea and your point of view! It seems whether intentional or not that you are really looking into the obvious things that are right in front of us but that we never see! That is great, keep doing that! The only thing that I think that you need to work on is probably narrowing down the subject matter or broadening and generalizing it enough that you can really get your point across. But other than that keep up the great work! I hope to see sketches and more soon!
