I think the perfect world would be wireless, but I've completely forgotten that there is at least one benefit to cables. The more there are on your stage, the more you look like a rock star. With this concept in mind, I found a photo I took years ago of just the cables on the stage at a concert. I originally took the photo to observe the patterns and lines the cables made in the photo. I have now added the detail of the band's name written in the cables to show one way that cables could be used for decoration and flourish rather than just pushed to the side, taped down, tangled and tripped over.

I love how you work the name of your logo in there so stealthily. It's like looking for Waldo. Cool photo too. I hope nobody trips over all those cords though.
fantastic. i love taking detail photos like this at concerts.
These days though, it really is a toss up. simple because some bands perfer the clean look of wireless "remote" plugs to get the gain from the body to the amps. And as much as I hate headphone cords, I really like this, I like the direction. Because your absolutely right! an example, my favorite band Pantera. I'm sure they almost always used cables until The guitarist and his brother joined damageplan. But when they started they were all glamed out, which might have lead to the hiding of the cables for a cleaner look, who knows. But they didn't, they would go on stage and rock the venue, cut off shorts, flanel cut-off t-shirts and all.
with cords! sorry about that long winded post everybody
