The Taste of "flamenca"

I was hesitant to do something food-related because it's been done already for this project, but, what with my brand directly involving scent experiences, I felt this exploration would be appropriate. I spent time contemplating the sharp/smooth contrast of "flamenca, " and determined the characteristics of ginger ideally define the complexities of that contrast. By itself, ginger is a bitter, shocking taste. In food, and particularly chocolate, it tones down and develops a sensual, enveloping aroma that is experienced beyond taste buds and into the olfactory. And it doesn't hurt that it's delicious.

i like how you've approached your brand from multiple senses in this and your other entries. hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting.

also, this is just about the photo, but i love how in the last one the lines on the ginger are mirrored in the cuts on the board/plate.
