Good idea to use binary code seeing as its a universal thing. The only speculation I would have is that will binary code stand the test of 10,000 years?
Or will the aliens/visitors/whatever simply see the code as random lines and circles?

I like the idea of having a universal language. And I have the same question as Zan. How would they be able to understand it?

I love the idea of binary. While binary probably won't last the test of 10000 years, I think the "universal web coding" is a more likely language than english, chinese, or any other phonetic alphabet. Binary might not be the final answer but a computer/techie language like that seems a great vein to start with.

i like the idea of binary code, but still have the same concerns of it standing the test of 10000yrs. i'm wondering if you should have some sketches that will go along with it to help translate it.
